This attractive, compact evergreen shrub is covered in the spring with profuse, small, fragrant white flowers followed by sweet and tasty, pretty red berries. With their sprightly, guava-like flavor and fragrance, they are delicious for fresh eating and for jam and jelly. Chilean Guava grows 3 to 6 feet in height, likes sun in cooler areas, partial shade in hot regions, and is hardy to about 10°F.
Chilean Guava also makes a nice container plant.
We offer Chilean Guava plants selected from upright growing, cold-tolerant seedlings with tasty berries.
