Oregon Myrtle

This, unique and beautiful, evergreen tree is prized for its dense, dark green, aromatic foliage which is used as a substitute for Bay Leaves in cooking. It’s beautiful, light brown wood is used to make the famed Myrtlewood crafts found in shops on the Oregon coast. Native to southern Oregon and northern California. Oregon Myrtle is hardy to 0°F. and grows slowly to 20-25 ft. in height with an attractive round shape.
